In parallel to client projects, we are working on various internal projects. Some of these projects aim at the launch of products on the market, others are purely for fun to try out new technologies and tools.
Indoor Navigation: Solenix Deutschland GmbH is an Incubatee in the ESA business incubation initiative. We are developing a framework for seamless indoor and outdoor navigation with integration of location-based services.
| MUST: The Mission Utility & Support Tools is a data system developed under ESA contract. Solenix has received a licence from ESA and is now extending the system with new functionalities and performance improvements. The system consists of various modules and layers for data importation from existing data sources, data processing and storage, data preparation and presentation in client applications, both web-based and desktop. |

Web Clients: We have developed several advanced web-based applications for interactive charting, data analysis and reporting. This facilitates remote monitoring of data, performance and activities, as well as the generation of reports consisting of processed data in order to maximise the amount of information presented to the user.
Mobile Clients: The last few years have shown a dramatic market increase of smartphones and other mobile devices. This trend will continue and the functional differences between mobile and fixed devices will become smaller. In view of this, we are heavily investing in adapting and tailoring our existing client applications to mobile platforms and in developing new applications.
Location-based applications: A specialisation of mobile applications are location-based mobile applications, which exploit the GPS capabilities of mobile devices. This opens a whole new world of possibilities. Solenix is developing a solution for applications requiring seamless navigation, and an engine for location-based mobile games.
